Q  Will my skid plate come with all the hardware I need to install?

A  Yes, all the skid plates we sell come with any bolts or clamps needed.  No trips to the hardware store needed!

Q  Do I have to drill holes in my frame to mount a chassis skid, or swingarm skid, or a-arm guards?

A  No, our skid plates utilize factory mounting holes and clamp onto frame parts that require no modification.

Q  Will the chassis skid for my model have an oil drain hole in it?

A  Yes, all of our chassis skids come with oil drain holes.

Q  My buddy bought another brand of chassis skid and the fit was not very good.  Will my Armadillo skid plate fit right?

A  These skid plates are precision cut on a computerized water jet cutter. The ones they cut today are identical to the very first ones they cut years ago.  The water jet cuts not only the skid plate itself, but also the bolt holes and any other small details. It is so precise it can cut your name out of aluminum plate the size of a key chain. The bends and welds for the a arm guards and swingarm skid are done in secure jigs, virtually eliminating the possibility of misalignment.

Q  If I buy a +2” A-Arm set, do I get everything I need to install?

A  Yes, right down to the tie rods and cotter pins.  The kit is totally complete.

Q  My polished bumper is beautiful!  How do I keep the high gloss to it?

A  We have had great luck with Mother’s Mag & Aluminum Polish. A quick buffing up by hand every now and then keeps the luster looking new.

Q  If I buy a Six Pack Rack or an Out-N-Back rack, will my tail light be covered up?

A  No, we provide taillight relocating brackets so your tail light will still be a functioning part of your quad. Everything is complete. 

Q  What size cooler fits in the Six Pack Rack or the Out-N-Back rack?

A  The cooler basket measures 8 1/2” X 11”, just like a piece of typing paper. The Coleman flat top coolers work very well, but many different coolers will fit.  Take a piece of copier paper to the store when shopping for a cooler for an easy guide.

Q  How big is the gas can on the Out-N-Back racks?

A  The gas can holds 1.1 gallons.

Q  I live outside the U.S., how do I calculate my shipping costs?

A  Just drop us an e-mail with your address and what you’re interested in purchasing, and we’ll get you a shipping quotation right away  Outside of the U.S. please give us your phone number also for customs paperwork after purchase.

Q  I’m interested in several different items.  Do I pay the full listed shipping costs on all of them?

A  We will combine shipping charges when we can. Some items like a-arm guards and swingarm skids can go in the same box for a reduced shipping and handling charge.  E-mail us with your inquiries and we’ll quickly reply with the best shipping cost available for your combination order.
